Ryley Rubin’s communications and social media marketing experience is matched by his commitment to activism and prison reform. He is a public speaker, advocate, and lifelong student. He came to New Orleans as a Homecoming of sorts, to write his first book, and to get close to familiar roots. Professionally, Ryley's expertise in social media was carved in New York, where he worked as a freelance media manager and model. Most recently, he worked as the Communications Manager at Grads of Life, where he was able to take his love of narration and tie it to a deeply personal cause of lifting up the voices of Opportunity Youth. A Quaker since birth, his activism work has always taken precedent, which is why being able to take his professional skills and put them to use for an organization like VOTE, is a dream actualized. He likes to lead with empathy and the resounding mantra that Black Lives Matter. Email Ryley.
