Curtis Ray Davis is a fierce advocate for criminal justice reform in Louisiana. After serving 26 years in Angola for a murder he did not commit, he helped pass the most comprehensive reform legislation in Louisiana history. The Louisiana Criminal Justice Reinvestment Act that was signed into law in 2017 will reduce the state prison population by 10 percent over the next 10 years.
